is a great little cozy bar right on the edge of the red light district, one street from Café D'Anvers and right in the middle of Falconplein.
It used to be kind of a rough neighbourhood (think Russian maffia) but the square has been totally redone and a lot a new places (Viktor, Yellow Submarine, ...) have emerged since then. it's really a special spot in our city that is often forgotten but MAS is only one minute away, you can even see it from the terrace. The academy and the university are also just around the corner so next time you're in the neighbourhood, make a pit stop at Bartilia.
This is a great place if you want to hang out with friends, talk all night and have a bite to eat. They don't have an extensive menu but they do serve food like chili con carne, chicken tandoori and ofcourse tapas. You might have picked up on the Spanish & Mexican themed food and the name also sounds exotic but the bar is actually named after the 'Tilia' trees (or Lindeboom in Dutch) that once stood on this square.
