Waffles come in all shapes and sizes and all of you have them in your own country. But the waffles at Désiré De Lille simply are the best. Very light (so you won’t feel full after having one) and extremely crispy. With sugar or fresh cream on top, just the way we like it. There is a take-away on Schoenmarkt or you can sit down to enjoy them at Schrijnwerkersstraat. Don’t be scared by the amount of grandmothers sitting here. Afterall, when it comes to good waffles, they know best, right?
