A bike is your best and fastest bet to get around the city. It’s amazing what you can do and see in such a short time and what’s more, cycling is fun, healthy and cheap! Travel along a
fairly low-traffic
route and see some of the historic highlights of various districts with your guide.
Naturally, you will cover the
most important attractions
, such as the Steen Fortress, the new MAS museum near the Napoleonic port docks, the Rubens’ House, Museum Plantin-Moretus and Grote Markt. But you will also be charmed by more
picturesque spots
such as the peaceful Beguinage and
the Elzenveld centre.
The trip takes you along:
STEEN - ‘Eiland je’ (MAS) - BEGUINAGE - Rubens’ House - QUARTIER LATIN - VRIJDAGMARKT - GROTE MARKT.
It includes a short visit - if open to:
the beguinage and the courtyard of the Museum Plantin (UNESCO world heritage).
Start and finish
: Steenplein, near the slope of Zuiderterras. On request you can meet elsewhere.
